Terms of Service

These draft terms are written for the Farmstand MVP and should be reviewed by counsel before public launch. They describe how farmers may use Farmstand to manage farm records, websites, customers, checkout, inventory, subscriptions, email, and related tools.
Accounts
You are responsible for keeping your login secure, entering accurate farm and business information, and making sure anyone invited to your farm workspace is allowed to access that farm's data.
Payments and Fees
Farmstand may charge plan fees, transaction fees, storage fees, email-contact add-ons, domain services, hosted email services, or other optional charges shown before purchase. Stripe and other providers may process payments. A transaction fee may include payment-processing costs and Farmstand's platform fee.
Farmer Responsibilities
Farmers are responsible for products, pricing, fulfillment, taxes, food-safety compliance, permits, labeling, refunds, delivery, pickup, and customer promises. Farmstand provides tools and records, but it does not provide legal, tax, veterinary, or accounting advice.
Data
Your farm data remains yours. You may export core records where export tools are provided. Farmstand may process data to provide the service, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and support billing, checkout, email, storage, and domain features.
Availability
Farmstand is an early product. We work hard to keep it available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service during beta, maintenance, provider outages, or security events.
